Gerard has over 30 years of experience in the automotive industry through a diversity of roles in several geographies. Starting in upstream R&D, he later directed industrial OEM partnerships and business programs for competition, niche and flagship vehicles worldwide. 

After serving as Chief Risk Officer of the Renault Group for several years, he started in 2021 an independent advisory activity, focused on corporate strategy and performance, and joined CDI Global (Paris office) to head the Automotive & Mobility and Transport & Logistics Industry Groups.

An engineering graduate from Ecole Centrale Paris, Gerard also holds a PhD in physics. He is fluent in both French and English.
